Woman Commits Suicide After Poisoning Her Kids Over Husband’s Infidelity

A Kenyan woman has committed suicide after she claimed she could not handle her husband’s infidelity and maltreatment.

The deceased gave a poisonous substance to her kids before hanging herself with a rope in the room she shared witu her husband.

Fortunately, her two kids survived. They were found by some neighbours who heard their wailing and were rushed to the Komarock Modern Hospital.

The deceased, Jane Mwende, a resident of the capital Nairobi in a suicide note detailed how she is suffering in her marriage.

She added that she was ending her life and that of the two kids, a boy and a girl to teach her husband a bitter lesson.

Edimond Maubi, husband of Jane Mwende admitted he had some marital problems with his now deceased wife but was astounded how she could do such a dastard act.

The corpse has been taken to the morgue for preservation as police begins investigations into the unfortunate incident.
