He was accused of airing potentially harmful claims about the coronavirus disease without providing any scientific proof to buttress his submission.

The agency, Office of Communication, commonly known as Ofcom, condemned in a statement on Monday, May 18, 2020, a news programme and a live sermon that linked 5G technology to coronavirus.

The sermon told viewers that the coronavirus was an illusion which had been artificially projected in order to install the 5G internet network.

Pastor Chris also added that the 5G network was a conduit aimed at ensuring the biblical revelations of the Anti-christ come to fruition.

The agency explained that the timing Pastor Chris’ sermon on 5G was particularly sensitive because in the preceding days there had been destruction of 5G masts in the country.

The agency has ordered for a retraction of the sermon and apology to its viewers who it considers, vulnerable to the unsubstantiated contents of his sermon.
