Scarface Actor, Geno Silva Dies At 72

Geno Silva, a veteran actor famed for his role in 1983’s blockbuster movie Scarface has been confirmed dead. He was 72 years.

He was famed for playing The Skull, a silent assassin who killed Al Pacino’s character Tony Montana giving the movie Scarface it’s iconic ending.

Although Geno doesn’t speak in the movie, his foreboding character made him an icon as he gunned down Tony.

Sliva died at his home in Los Angeles after battling frontotemporal degeneration, a form of dementia, according to reports.

He was born in 1948 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and has appeared in over 60 films and TV episodes during his career spanning over forty years.

His last on-screen appearances were on TV shows including The Agency, Alias, Star Trek: Enterprise and Into the West.
