Lagbaja Turns 60! – Former VP Celebrates Legendary Nigerian Musician In A Spectacular Way

Iconic Nigerian singer, Songwriter, Òpátàmèdù famed as Lagbaja, turned 60-years today and has been heavily celebrated by dignitaries and fans across the globe.

Lagbaja is famed for his great talent and also his masked who covers his identity till date. Many shared the musicians images on social media and sang his praise.

Former vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, joined the celebration and shared the veteran’s work on his official twitter page.

Lagbaja is often credited as one of the pioneers in Afrobeat music. He deprived from an icon called Lágbájá. And named himself Òpátàmèdù as a symbol of being majorly an African Traditional performing artist that based mostly on African Talking drums.
