Nollywood Actor Arrested For Stabbing Neighbour To Death Over Electricity Bill

A budding Nollywood actor has been arrested for stabbing a neighbour to death over electricity bill.

It was gathered that the incident happened on at their home located at No. 4, Sebil Kazeem, Cele-Igbe, Ikotun, Lagos.

Narrating how it all started, Banjo Lateef, a fellow neighbor explained that as the one in charge of electricity bills, he contacted the actor, Temitayo Philips, to pay his due.

The actor was not willing to pay so other co-tenants suggested his flat should be disconnected. He went to ask for the money again.

This time the actor flared up and the two ended up fighting. The tenants managed to send the actor to the police station where he signed a bond to pay.

Upon arrival home he picked a knife to stab the man he fought with. Banjo Lateef dodged his aggression and the knife stabbed another co-tenant.

The actor’s victim was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Temitayo Philips fled to a nearby hotel but was apprehended by a crowd of angry youth.

He was later handed to the police who have began investigations to the unfortunate incident. The actor will be arraigned before a law court soon.
