Empress Gifty Advises Young Ladies To Marry Older Men

Popular Ghanaian gospel musician Gifty Adorye has advised young ladies to consider marrying older men when they are ready to settle down.

The gospel musician made this known during an interview on Accra-based Power FM. She was of the opinion that older men act in a mature way when women make mistakes in their marriage.

Today, I have a man who I can confidently call my head of the home. He’s more matured and knows how to deal with the flaws of a woman… Agyemang, you see it is always good to marry a man who is older than you. Such a person knows how to point out your flaws to you and not to a third party.

According to the sensational musician, her marital issues are kept within the confines of her home due to her husband’s maturity.

She also added that she does not allow her fame to get into her head but remains submissive to her darling husband, Hopeson Adorye.

Hopeson Adorye, deputy national security coordinator in charge of airports married his sweetheart in late 2018. That marriage came on after he lost his first wife, Margaret Kumah to cancer in March 2017.

Many people are viewing her comments as a direct jab to her former husband, Prophet Prince Elisha Osei who divorced her after 10 years of marriage.
