Mob Lynches Man For Stealing Chicken To Feed His Hungry Family

A man has been lynched by an angry mob for allegedly stealing food to feed his hungry family.

The unfortunate incident happened in Kamurojjo-Muro village, Serere district, Teso sub region, Uganda.

The deceased who was identified only as Emuron was accused of breaking into a neighbour’s hen coop to steal a cock to feed his family.

However, luck eluded him on his way out. He was caught by the owner who raised an alarm attracting the mob go the scene.

The mob descended on the man and pelted him with big stones. They only left him after they saw him lay motionless ofntje ground.

Some benevolent people rushed him to a nearby clinic. Unfortunately the father-of-seven was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

A report was subsequently made to the police. An investigation has been launched with four of the killers being nabbed.
