Every Rapist Deserves To Die – Don Jazzy And Mercy Eke Calls For Strict Laws To End Rape In Nigeria

Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy and Reality TV star Mercy Eke has slammed rapists and anyone protecting them over the rampant crimes in Nigeria.

Just like the many celebrities, Don Jazzy and Mercy Eke reacted to the death of 22-year-old Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, the 100-level student of the University of Benin who was raped and murdered in a church in Edo state.

But the two personalities took their reacting a notch higher by calling for strict measures to curb the fast spread of violence in the nation.

On Instagram, Don Jazzy shared “.. I believe every rapist deserves to die. If you are a rapist out there and you see this, you should be ashamed of yourself and I want you to know that one day you will pay for your barbaric crimes…”

Mercy Eke tweeted in a note meant to welcome her fans into the month of June saying “…Every young girl deserves to grow up in a society that’s safe…”
