Fear Grips Nigerians As COVID-19 Cases Exceed 10,000
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC, has announced 10,162 cases of COVID-19 cases recorded in Nigeria as 307 new cases recorded on Sunday May 31, 2020.

188 cases were recorded in Lagos, 44 in FCT, 19 in Ogun, 14 in Kaduna, 12 in Oyo, 9 in Bayelsa, 5 in Gombe, 3 in Kano and Delta, 2 in Imo, Rivers, Niger and Bauchi, 1 in Plateau, and 1in Kwara state.
3007 patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 287 deaths have been recorded.

The surge in positive cases has alarmed many Nigerians including Zlatan Ibile who questioned if persons infected by the virus and has died have family.
