Hypertension Killed Castro’s Manager DJ Amess – Close Friend Reveals

Yesterday June 4, 2020, the Ghanaian entertainment industry suffered two heavy blows to the chest as we lost talented radio presenter/event host Kwadwo Wiafe and also manager of Castro – DJ Amess.

DJ Amess was confirmed to have lost his life in the early hours of Thursday morning at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness he was reportedly recovering from.

Reports had it that the entertainment pundit and former manager of missing Ghanaian hip life artist, Castro, was soliciting for funds to treat his illness until the unfortunate happened yesterday.

A close friend and colleague to DJ Amess, Kojo Apreko, revealed in an interview that he has conversations with the deceased on Wednesday and he was confident he would be discharged soon.

“Just yesterday he told me from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital that his Blood Pressure had come down and he was hoping to come home soon only for me to get a call from his daughter that her father had passed on.

“I am still shocked because we were in constant communication and I was hoping he would get well soon,” he said.

Mr Apreko revealed that the prolific pundit and manager succumbed to Hypertension or blood pressure and knee problems that rendered him immobilized.
