VGMA 2020 To Be Held In August – Organizers Reveal
The 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has been scheduled to take place in August this year, CEO of Charterhouse – Theresa Ayoade reveals.
She disclosed that the decision to host the event comes after Present eased restrictions he placed on events and public gathering to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Madam Theresa added that her team is putting measures in place to organize a memorable awards in August despite the fear of the pandemic.
The CEO also explained that unlike other events organized virtually, the VGMAs this year will be having live audience in addition to the live streaming with breaking the guidelines set by the Government.

“The challenges of putting together logistics and not being sure of expected revenue is a real issue. In normal times, we will have been able to sell up to 4,000 tickets in VGMA-related events, but it is not so now,”
“It may not be exactly as it used to be in the past but obviously, with what is happening now, it’s going to be a downscale version,” she said.
