Bees Drive Out Member Of Parliament And Chiefs From Event – PHOTOS

On Wednesday, June 10 at Koforidua, a community in the Eastern Region of Ghana, high profile dignitaries were sent running for their lives after a swarm of bees invaded their event grounds.

Member of Parliament for New Juabeng North, Nana Adjei Boateng, the Municipal Chief Executive, Comfort Asante and some traditional rulers were said to have been part of the victims of the bee attack.

Africacelebrities.Com gathers that two of the victims are said to be receiving treatment at the Koforidua St. Joseph Hospital and others who were not badly injured were treated and discharged.

It is reported that the dignitaries were at the event center to launch rehabilitation works at the community center but was met by the swarm of bees that have been occupying portions of the ceiling at the Community Centre for years.

Residents living around the facility disclosed this is not the first time the bees have attacked and disrupted a ceremony.

Officials of Zoomlion Ghana Limited later helped to successfully disinfect the Community Centre and the Asokori Township following information about the attack.
