Grandmother Marries Her 24-Year-Old Son (PHOTOS)
As if a bad plot for a movie, a 65-year-old grandmother has tied the knot with her 24-year-old adopted son in the presence of family at South Sumatra, Indonesia.

65 year old Mbah Gambreng is said to have adopted her son, now husband, Ardi Waras, last year and the two have been living together ever since.
According to reports from local news, Ardi proposed to her adopted mother and she is quoted to have been surprised at the 24-year-old’s actions.
The new couple walked down the aisle in the presence of three adopted daughters and some other family. “To my surprise, he said he wanted to marry me,” Gambreng was quoted to have said.

Reports say Ardi allegedly paid 100,000 IDR (£6) as dawry for his wife-to-be. The ceremony was organised in a traditional Islamic wedding in their local community.
