The assemblyman for the area, James Sarfo, has joined residents of the community to demand the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly to to beef up security as the area is rocked with several unsolved murder and other violent incidents.

They are also appealing to district authorities to revamp an abandoned police station the community built so that would-be robbers and miscreants would be deterred from perpetuating any crimes.

the Assemblyman said.

“It appears our security can’t be guaranteed. The community has built a police station in this town but personnel are yet to be deployed to man it, and so as you can see it has been taken over by weeds and reptiles. We pray that one day this project will serve its purpose.”

The community-built police post is yet to be operational
