Ghanaian Politician Dies Of Coronavirus, Two Other Ministers At Intensive Care Unit
CEO of Ghana’s Forestry Commission and Former General Secretary of the ruling Party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, known as Sir John, has died of Coronavirus.
A source disclosed to the press that Sir John died at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 after testing positive for the novel virus.

Two other politicians are said to be fighting for their lives at the Intensive Care Unit, Deputy Minister of Trade, Carlos Ahenkorah and Peter Mac Manu, the campaign manager of the NPP .
Tributes have began to pour in for kwadwo Owusu Afriyie. Minsiter of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah tweeted a painting of Sir John.
Sir John recently lost his mother, Obaapanin Kate Serwaa and sister, Comfort Amoateng who are yet to be buried.
