Shocking: Hushpuppi Was Conspiring To Steal £100 Million From An English Premier League Club

Embattled Nigerian scammer, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas. famed as Hushpuppi and the English Premier League is trending on Twitter after Hushpuppi was accused of conspiring to fraud a football club in UK.

A criminal complaint filed by the federal prosecutors alleged that not only did Hushpuppi fraud over 2 million Americans but was conspiring to scam an English Club of £100 Million.

The complaint also stated that Hushpuppi is “one of the leaders of a transnational network that facilitates computer intrusions, fraudulent schemes (including BEC schemes), and money laundering, targeting victims around the world in schemes designed to steal hundreds of millions of dollars”.

Ray Hushpuppi made his first court appearance this morning in Chicago after he was extradited from Dubai, where he was arrested, to the United States. If found guilty of the charges leveled against him, Hushpuppi would face maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.
