Reports: 50 Nigerian Lawmakers Test Positive For Covid-19
As many as 50 legislators are said to have tested positive for the deadly novel coronavirus and this has thrown the House of Representatives into panic mood according to reports.
According to an anonymous source who spoke to some newsmen, about 50 representatives in the House have fallen victim after results of their Covid-19 tests came out.
“You people should do anything possible to protect yourselves o, Coronavirus is right here even in the Chamber, about 50 or more than 50 of our colleagues are having it o, I mean they are down with it already,” he said.
The House as a result of these developments is said to have immediately adjourned plenary till next week, as opposed to its adopted covid-19 sitting guideline of twice a week.
