Minister Of Information Condemns Ghanaian Counselor For Saying Rape Victims Enjoy Being Raped

Self professed counselor, Goerge Lutterodt caused a outrage in Ghana with a comment he made on live television suggesting that rape victims enjoy being raped.

Many celebrities, including actress Ama k. Abebrese have spoken against the counselor’s assertion stating that such delicate matter should not be trivialized. Others even labeled him as a rape apologist.

Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has joined the many who believe George Lutterodt made an unschooled statement.

He reacted to the issue on twitter saying, “Rape and violence against women is not something we should joke or toy with. We need to develop a more robust environment for protecting our wives, daughters, sisters and mothers.”
