Nigerian Government Slams Hushpuppi For Disgracing The Country
The government of Nigeria has finally reacted to the arrest and subsequent extradition of internet sensation Hushpuppi to the United States to face trial for cyber crimes.
The Foreign Affairs minister, Geoffrey Onyeama in an interview highlighted the effects such news had on the country’s image in the international world.

He chastised the few Nigerians who are into internet fraud thereby bringing shame to the country. He added that these acts overrun the good deeds Nigerians outside are doing just to market their country.
In a related development, the chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has called for the law to deal with Hushpuppi whose real name is Ramoni Igbalode Abass.

In a statement on her official Twitter handle, she reiterated that some few bad Nigerians are spoiling the country’s image as against those who do several jobs and live good lives.
The millionaire social media braggart is currently being held in an American prison awaiting his trial after he was arrested last month on internet fraud charges.
