Hollywood actor Bryshere Gray, who played Hakeem in Drama series Empire, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife and strangling her till she passed out.

In a Police account, it was stated that the woman had multiple visible injuries on her body and she claimed the actor strangled her till she passed out.
Reports say Goodyear Police responded to a 911 call on Sunday night, July 12, alleging “an adult female victim had been assaulted at her Goodyear home by her husband, who she identified as Bryshere Gray, an actor on the TV series ‘Empire,’ ” police said in a statement.

It goes on to say Gray refused to come outside and barricaded himself inside the house when the Police got to their home in Goodyear, Arizona.
He was taken into custody without incident about nine hours later but was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on Domestic Violence Charges on Monday morning.
