From building a cult following in Southern Africa to courting the attention of “John Cena” hitmaker, Sho Madjozi, AY Poyoo is on the up again in his fledging music career as his song, “GOAT” has harnessed one million views on popular video streaming platform, YouTube.
He took to twitter to share the news with his fans and followers. Poyoo wrote in a tweet, “GOAT JUST HIT 1 MILLION VIEWS ON YOUTUBE!!!”
At a time when breaking into the mainstream music industry has become a tough ask for many in Ghana, AY Poyoo has used his rogue and yet unique branding to gatecrash his way through.
