Female Army Pilot, Tolulope To Be Buried On July 23
Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile who died in a freak accident at the age of 23 would be laid to rest on the 23rd of this month.
The deceased who was the first female combat helicopter pilot in the Nigerian Air Forces died on 14 July 2020.
According to military sources, the deceased soldier will be laid to rest with full military honours at the National Military Cemetery in the country’s capital, Abuja.
Tolulope Arotile died tragically after she sustained head injury in a car crash at a military base in Kaduna, north-western Nigeria.
Her untimely death generated an outpouring of grief as she was seen as a promising soldier whose escapades endeared her to her compatriots.
