VIDEO: Zambian Police Officer Declared Wanted After He Resigned On Facebook

Police in Zambia have began a search for an officer who resigned from his job through a Facebook video.

Sergeant Jason Chipepo announced his resignation from his country’s police service after what he claimed were many national questions people in authority have refused to addressed.

He added that he cannot be used by the government to inflict fear in his compatriots and the best decision for him is to vacate his position.

Spokesperson of the country’s police force, Esther Katongo said the officer is been sought after the deleriction of his duties since February this year.

The spokesperson added that the officer has not officially communicated his resignation from the police force, hence he is liable for prosecution after deserting the service without any explanation.
