Zambian Man Divorces Wife Because She Prays Too Much
A Zambian man has began divorce proceedings against his wife of many years with the reason that he cannot contain the incessant prayers his wife churn out every early morning.
Anderson Mwenya initiated the divorce in court after what he claims to be too many lengthy prayers from his wife, Priscah Chali.

The case was heard by a magistrate in the Buchi Local Court where Anderson where the complainant argued that his wife wakes up at 4:00 am to pray for several hours which he finds uncomfortable.
He revealed that her new behaviour started after she abandoned their church and join a pentecostal one where there is a meeting almost everyday.

In her defence, the woman rubbished her husband’s claims. She averred that Anderson Mwenya wants to divorce her to pave way for him to marry his girlfriend with whom he is cheating on her.
