BBNaija’s Nengi Blames Mum’s Death For Becoming A Weed Smoker

Nengi, a housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition has revealed her mother’s death pushed her into depression. This forced her to start smoking marijuana in order to lessen her loss.

The 22 year-old Bayelsa-born entrepreneur made The astounding comment in a conversation with her fellow housemate, Tochi.


According to her, she sought solace in the drug because she was told it helps people to forget painful stuff.

“Most people don’t really understand, there are some things that would happen to you that you just need to get your mind off it. When I lost my mum, that was when I started smoking weed, because I just want to forget, you know weed helps you forget and stuff.”

She added that she has since smoking because she was diagnosed of ulcer which gets worse if the patient is a smoker or alcoholic.
