Nigerian Nurses Attack Olamide For Portraying Them As S3kz Objects In New Music Video

All hell has broken loose on Nigerian rapper Olamide after some critics deemed his his new music video “Wonma” disrespect to nurses in the country.

In less than 24 hours after the release of the video, Olamide and his team in YBNL have taken down the video following many backlash.


The music video captured vixens dressed in nurse uniforms and engaging in many x-rated activities while in the hospital.

Nigerian women, mostly nurses, have lashed out at the musician calling his latest project an insult to the profession.

A twitter user inked her displeasure saying’ “8hours shift, 12hours over- night shift on ward, on duty at least 5days in a week, Caring and looking after the welfare of people that don’t know u or gives a damn about you, and still receiving a shitty pay at the end of the month, nd this is deserved? #nursesarenotsexualobjects “

An online platform that connects Nigerian nurses also released a statement addressing the music video released.

“…@Olamide recent music video misrepresents and totally disrespects the Nursing profession and healthcare providers. With a video WONMA depicting nurses as sextoys and sex objects to over 3.4M and 6.9M followers on @Twitter, @AppleMusic and @instagram. ” Part of the statement read.

The music group has since pulled down the video from their social media pages.
