MOB Justice: Two Boys Burnt To Death For Stealing Mobile Phones In Kenya

Reports reaching our desk has it that two young boys have been burnt to death for allegedly stealing mobile phones.

Photos washed social media showing the kids stripped naked with a car tyre placed around them. Anothe viral photo shawed moments fire caught the tyre and bodies burning.

Some child right activists have called for the arrest of the residents captured in the image saying jungle justice is not the appropriate punishment for any human especially minors.

Anja Ringgren Loven – a philanthropist who has rescued numerous children branded witches and abandoned in Akwa Ibom State –  and Femi Fani-Kayode have also express outrage after the photos went viral.

Some news agencies reported that the boys were caught when they tried to flee the crime scene with the stolen phones at Komarock Estate, Nairobi, Kenya, on Saturday, August 8.

They removed part of the motorcycle, bought petrol and used it to end the lives of the two young boys,” an eyewitness said to the press.

Commander of the Buruburu Police Command, Adamson Bungei also condemned the act and urged the youth to desist from crime.
