“I Love The Contestants Equally” – Mercy Eke Makes A U-Turn From Her Earlier Comment About BBNaija 2020

BBNaija 2019 winner, Mercy Eke has changed her earlier stance on the contestants in this year’s edition of the reality show, Big Brother Nigeria.

In an earlier live video on social media, the 2019 winner lambasted fans who were calling on her to support the contestants in the house as was done for her and her colleagues previously.

She was dragged by social media users who took offence in her statement which suggested that those watching the program were jobless.

Mercy Eke has however made a U-turn, explaining that her comment was taken out of context. She revealed in a tweet that, she loves all the contestants equally and has no favorite to support.

She tweeted: “I was talking to those who were tarnishing my image on Twitter because I decided to stay neutral Neutral face I love all housemate equally, and everyone knows I’m a thankful person Person, your narrative will never change my personality”

She went further to state that the video was edited short which didn’t capture all her rants. She thanked those who stood by her when she was been dragged on social media.

“for those who already knew that the clip was edited short without any shalaye thank you for knowing me”, she concluded.
