Popular Nigerian singer and record producer, Samuel Oguachuba, better known in the entertainment industry as Samklef has lashed out at people who are blaming the youth of Nigeria for their woes.

Samklef opined that, the country Nigeria, has not done enough for the youth to prosper in its sixty years of practicing self-governance. He mentioned that there are a number of graduates with brilliant qualifications and innovative ideas who are roaming the streets jobless.

According to him, the blame of the youth is misplaced and if there should be anyone to blame, it should be the leaders and not the innocent youth.

He took to Instagram to share his opinion. He wrote: “Nobody should blame any Nigeria youths. For the past 60 years what has the country offer them? So many brilliant graduates out there with no job.”

It would be recalled that the Ooni of Ife and other opinion leaders and traditional rulers whiles observing the International Youth Day, blamed the youth of Nigeria for not been proactive enough.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo even charged the youth to get involved in the governance of the country. He said that, the only way they can achieve this is to get involved in active politics.
