We Shouldn’t Try To Bring Down Wizkid Or Davido When Praising Burna Boy – Banky W Advises Fans

Famous Nigerian singer, rapper, actor, politician and entrepreneur, Banky Wellington, popularly known as Banky W in showbiz has schooled fans of Burna Boy on how to do their praising singing without stepping on others’ toes.

Burna Boy after releasing his album ‘Twice As Tall’ today, many music fans and entertainment annalysts have been pouring praises on the African Giant.

But some of the fans of Burna Boy are rather comparing the ‘greatness’ of their idol to that of other Nigerian artistes including Wizkid and Davido.

This, Banky W believes can bring animosity between Burna Boy and the other artistes in Nigeria which he believes will not augur well for the music industry.

Banky W has therefore taken to his twitter page to advise the fans to be circumspect in the way they downplay the works of other artistes in trying to project theirs.

He tweeted: “Dear fans, please note: Acknowledging @burnaboy’s unquestionable greatness doesn’t mean we must bring up (or put down) Wiz, David or anyone else. And vice versa.”
