Nollywood Actress, Rita Dominic Calls On The Federal Government To Reopen Cinemas

As part of measures to check the spread of Covid-19, the World Health Organization rolled out some safety protocols to be followed by people to help curtail the spread of the virus.

Social distancing and abolishment of mass gatherings were part of the protocols instituted by WHO.

All affected countries in the world religiously followed and adhered to the protocols. In line with this, cinemas were closed to prevent people gathering enmasse.

But the Coronavirus spread seems to be going down in most parts of the world and some countries have actually started easing some of the restrictions.

Actress, Rita Dominic is therefore calling on the federal government to open up the cinemas as part of the easing of the restrictions.

The closure of the cinemas affected negatively the movie industry seriously. She shared a video where she listed a number of countries that have taken the initiative to open up cinemas to patrons.

These countries include the country of origin of the virus, China, Denmark, Lebanon among other nations.
