Tertiary Students Hold A Protest In Kwara State To Demand The Reopening Of Their Schools
Students of institutions of higher learning in Kwara State in Nigeria had earlier held a protest to press on the governor and the authority of the State to reopen their schools.
Universities and Polytechnics as well as all other educational institutions were closed in March as part of measures to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
The aggrieved students picketted at the forecourt of the State government house in Ilorin.
They carried placards with some inscriptions such as, “Save Education Now” among others.
