Musician, Harrysong Opens Up On Why He Suspended His Marriage

Popular Nigerian musician, Harrison Okiri, otherwise known as Harrysong has opened up on why he put his marriage on hold.

The artiste made an announcement earlier that he will be settling down in 2020. But it was later revealed that the planned marriage will not be coming on again.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, the artiste revealed that he suspended his marriage temporarily because he was “not sure anymore.’’

Harrysong said; “Everything about marriage has been suspended for now. I’m focusing more on my music and business. The truth is that I’m still young and having the passion to settle down early is a normal feeling.”

He added that marriage is a lifetime journey and one needed to be very sure of the decision you’re making before getting into it. “You can’t manage yourself into a life-time journey, you have to be 100 per cent sure. In my case, I wasn’t so sure anymore”, he noted.

He continued: “As long as you’re above 20 years, you should be eligible for marriage. As a celebrity, distraction can be one of the reasons of not getting married early but finding the right person is very important.

He concluded that, he doesn’t support having a baby mama as practised by many people nowadays so he’s waiting for the right time to get married before making children.
