Nigerian female artiste Seyi Shay has recounted how she escaped a ghastly accident in Lagos that nearly claimed her life.
She shared this with her fans in a live video session on Instagram. In her narration, she was returning from Sound Sultan’s house with her driver when the unfortunate incident happened.

According to her, a big trailer hit a Corolla car that deviated to her way and hit her car which also subsequently hit a man walking on the shoulder of the road.
“Actually, the container had a direct impact on a corolla. That corolla now hit my car. That’s how my car now flew from one side of the freaking freeway to the other side. I literally saw everything take place in front of my eyes, there was one passerby that was just walking o”, she said.

She continued that, her car hit the man who was walking on the shoulder of the road. The man fell and was screaming about his broken legs; something that scared Seyi Shay.
The incident landed her at the police station where she spent close to five hours answering questions. He said: “I couldn’t believe it and I was like what I have done, that is how we ended up in the police station, this was like 7 am I was in the police station till 11:30 am.”
She disclosed that, the driver of the big trailer was about nine years old without a license and was driving a big truck in Lagos. At the police station, the driver insisted that he was 23 years old.
