Elementary And Junior High Schools In Ghana Closed Until 2021 Due To Covid-19
President Nana Akufo-Addo in his latest COVID-19 updates last Sunday 30 August said academics for children in elementary, JHS1 and SHS1 schools has been postponed till 2021.

The President added that students in JHS2 and SHS2 will resume school for a period of 10 weeks starting October 5 to December.
During the live telecast, President Akuffo Addo also reopened the Kotoka International airport and flights will resume operations by September 1. Other borders in the country remains closed.

Nana Akufo-Addo said all travelers must show proof that they have tested negative for Coronavirus and must present Covid- 19 test result not more than 72 hours before they board the plane.
Ghana has recorded 44,205 cases of the virus and have seen 42,777 and only 276 deaths.
