Photographer Accuses Burna Boy Of Intellectual Theft

Despite the wide commendations Nigerian afrobeats singer, Burna Boy received after launching his album dubbed ‘Twice As Tall’, there has been some ugly side to the success story of the album.

The cover photo of the album is said to have been stolen from one photographer who shot and uploaded the photo on Twitter last year.

The photographer identified with the twitter handle, @webgod30 took to twitter to accuse the ‘African Giant’ of stealing his intellectual property.

The photographer noted that, he’s pained by the way Burna Boy stole his idea for his album cover and demanded that Burna Boy should pay him for damages.

He tweeted; “Remember this my Picture from 2019? Thats how @burnaboy went to copy and use it for #TWICEASTALL in 2020. i cry out On behalf of my other brothers who cry that their ideas are being stolen. This intellectual property theft is paining my lungs. #BurnaBoy must pay me damage”
