77 People Escape Death Narrowly As The House They Lived In Collapsed In Lagos – Photos
Some seventy-seven tenants of a 20 room storey building escaped death narrowly when the house they occupied collapsed on them.
The incident happened today, Thursday, September 10 at Ajegunle, a Lagos slum. The storey building located at 26, Afolabi Alasia Street, Gaskiya road is said to have been bearing some signs of weakness prior to its collapse.

It’s reported that it had visible cracks on the walls and showed all signs that it could collapse any moment.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) reports that, there were 29 adults comprising 14 females and 15 males as well as 48 children in the premises when it collapsed. Fortunately, no live was lost.
