Samuel L. Jackson Release Trailer For Emotional Slave Trade Movie Shot In Ghana – Watch Video

Iconic Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson teamed up with British-Ghanaian writer, Afua Hirsch to shoot a new documentary about the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade.

The Africa-American actor was in Ghana during the ‘Year Of Return’ program in December last year and it seems this is the reason.

The series, titled ‘Enslaved’, tells the story of the slave trade but with a particular emphasis on the millions of people who died at sea during the long voyage to Europe and the Americas.

Samuel L. Jackson released a trailer for Enslaved on his official Instagram page to announce the release date of the series. The trailer stirred emotions as it showed a different view on slavery.

The series was partly shot in Gabon and Ghana, two famous slave ports and also ancestral homes of the actor Jackson. Watch the trailer below.
