Video: Davido Refuses To Help Airport Official Who Lost His Job Because Of Him

A few weeks ago, singer Davido was seen in a viral video tipping an unidentified airport official the sum of N38k($100) and now the man is in trouble with his employers.

Workers at the airport have been warned by authorities to desist from begging for money from travelers after many Nigerians reported the sick culture to the appropriate quarters.

The worker who was tipped by Davido (which is against working policies) for hailing him has been sacked home for begging for money from the public.

He has been trending on social media after he did a short video begging Davido to help him get back his job. In the video, the airport worker disclosed that he ran into trouble with the authorities after Davido dashed him some money as gift.

According to the worker, he only hailed Davido as a fan of his music but did not beg him to give him money adding that Davido did that out of goodwill.

He has therefore begged Davido to help him clear his name and get back his job because he has a wife and two kids he is finding difficult to take care of but the singer has given a reply that suggests that he cannot help the airport officer.

Davido said in a post that he is no more helping people out of their troubles because he might be tagged as chasing clout.
