Laycon Never Told Me He Was A Sickle Cell Person – Erica Clears The Air

Big Brother Naija season five housemate, Erica Ngozi Nlewedim has cleared the air regarding her insults on winner of the show, Laycon.

The two had a misunderstanding some few weeks ago and Erica rained insults on the young rapper and told him that he will not live beyond 50 years as he has not taken his medication for a week.

Many didn’t understand the context of the comment untill weeks later when Laycon told his colleagues that he’s a sickle cell person.

He added that, he doesn’t like telling people his genotype because he wants to avoid attracting sympathy from people.

After revealing his genotype, fans lambasted Erica for her earlier comments saying that she knew about Laycon’s condition and yet used it against him.

In an interview recently, Erica has denied ever knowing the genotype of Laycon neither to talk of using it against him.

She added that, she has never used what a person tells her against them in the future. She explains that, all she said to Laycon during their fight was as a result of bottled up emotions.

She said: “I am very sensitive to people’s feelings, If I do things wrong I always go back to apologize and there’s no time I’ve ever used whatever someone says to me against them.

“Laycon never told me he was ‘SC’ there’s no time he ever said that to me.. He knows he never said that to me , Left to me Laycon was fine, Laycon was alright.

“It was just bottled up emotions and obviosly I was under the influence, that is it”
