Burna Boy Speaks On The 60th Independence Anniversary Of Nigeria – Here Is What He Said

Nigeria celebrated its 60th independence anniversary yesterday, October 1 and a lot of people are commenting on the event, including celebrities.

In an interview with Arise News, Burna Boy also spoke extensively about the event and what makes him proud about Nigeria.

According to the Grammy nominated singer, the elected leaders of the most populous nation in Africa, have failed the citizenry but there are other Nigerian individuals who are doing wonderful things in other parts of the world.

He said: “The beauty is there are a few hard Nigerians, serious respectable Nigerians who I will give my last blood for. Who have taken it upon themselves and gone out anywhere in the world and done everything to become who they are positively.”

Burna Boy said those individuals who are inspiring the youth were too many to mention just like Adebayo Ogunlesi whom he sung about in one of his songs.

He added that these people are the only hope of the youth in Nigeria.
