Nigerians Call Naira Marley ‘Scared Coward’ For Canceling Planned #EndSARS Protest

Youth of Nigeria have flooded the pages of singer Naira Marley with insults and name calling after he backed out of a protest he planned to address police brutality.

Naira Marley wrote on twitter that there is no need for the youth to come out and protest because there are a lot of changes ongoing by the IGP to address the situation.

“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest. #togetherwecan ”, Naira’s tweet read.

Naira said in place of the protest, he will be having a conversation live on his Instagram page with leaders of SARS to find solution to the issue.

His change of mind has angered some youth who were in support of his plan to speak against SARS and police brutality in Nigeria.

They called him a liar, coward, scared rat and all sorts of tags and others called him a greedy person who has sold his rights for money and favor. Check out some comments below.
