Nigerian Youth Hit The Streets Of Lagos To Protest Against SARS – See Photos

A cross-section of the Nigerian youth in Lagos have hit the streets in protest against SARS and police brutalities.

The youth who poured onto the streets in their hundreds, held placards with inscriptions such as, “I am not a criminal, stop killing Nigerian youth”, “Nigerian police, stop killing US” among others.

They gathered at the Ikeja bridge in Lagos and promised to March straight to the police headquarters.

The youth have made it clear that they will continue the protest for three days. Within those days, they will visit Lagos State House of Assembly to present a petition to the political leadership of the State for the dissolution of the SARS unit of the police service.

Tomorrow, musicians Runtown and Falz will also be leading another protest against SARS.
