Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh has taken to her Instagram page to advise parents on what to do when the marriage of their daughters’ fails.

The Nollywood thespian advised that parents should not chase their daughters away when they leave their marrital homes.

She opined that, a divorced daughter is better than a dead daughter.

She wrote: “Dear parents please welcome your daughter home from a failed marriage, a divorced daughter is better than a dead daughter.”

It’s very common to find parents despising their daughters and forcing them to go back to their husbands’ homes when their marriage fails.

It’s considered a disgrace for one to have your daughter back in your house because she couldn’t endure the troubles in her marrital home.
