Eyewitness Gives Detailed Account Of How Ghanaian MP Was Shot Dead – Video

Eyewitness accounts coming on the murder of Ekow Quansah Hayford, a Ghanaian Member of Parliament, says the gunmen who shot him dead allegedly accused him of contributing to the difficulty of life in the country.

According to the reports, the robbers made the MP get down from his car andshot him twice when the MP identified himself during their operation.

The witness said after the Mr Quansah Hayford was shot at the back of his car, he kept shouting “please give me water to drink” but he was left there.

It was also indicated that he was attacked at about 1 am on Friday by six armed highway robbers. They blocked the Abeadze Dominase – Abeadze Duadzi – Mankessim road which was being traveled by the MP and his entourage on their way back from a campaign trip.

The death of Mr. Quansah have been mourned by many of his constituents and the President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo has ordered the police to get get suspects to book.
