JUST IN!! Nigeria Dissolves SARS After Massive Protest Nationwide
Inspector-General of Police in Nigeria, Mohammed Adamu, has announced that the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad(SARS) has been dissolved with immediate effect.

The IGP announced this afternoon in a live broadcast and his statements were confirmed on the official social media handles of the Presidency.
“The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force otherwise known as SARS is hereby dissolved in all the 36 State Police Commands and the Federal Capital Territory.” He said at the briefing.
He said the operatives will be redeployed to other police formations and commands.
This new development comes after days of protest both online and offline by Nigerians against police brutality and other menace by SARS Operatives in the country.
