“The Government Must Answer To The People’s Cries” – Kanye West Supports #EndSARS Protests
American hip hop rapper and televangelist, Kanye West has added his voice to the cries of ordinary Nigerians to disband the SARS unit of the police force.
Nigerian youth, led by the celebrities have been protesting to get the Special Anti-Robbery Squad – SARS disbanded.
The people are accusing SARS of killings, harassment and extortions. What sparked the latest uproar was the killing of an unarmed man in Lagos.
The #EndSARS protests have gained worldwide attention as top celebrities in the movie, music and sporting fraternities have all commented on the issue.

Kanye West becomes the latest to solidarize with the Nigerian youth.
In a tweet he wrote on his verified Twitter handle, the rapper said, the government should listen to the cries of the citizens.
He pledged his support for the #EndSARS protests to bring to an end SARS and police brutalities.
His tweet reads: “I stand with my Nigerian brothers and sisters to end police brutality. the government must answer to the peoples cries #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria”.
