African Leaders Don’t Really Care About Us – Kwesi Arthur

Reigning VGMA best rapper of the year, Kwesi Arthur has taken to his Twitter page to pass a verdict concerning how Africans are being treated by their own leaders.

The “Zombie” rapper, wrote that, African leaders don’t have the welfare of the citizens at heart. He made a categorical statement that, the leaders do not care about the citizens.

He took to his Twitter handle to make this remark. His tweet reads: “African leaders don’t really care about us chaley”

Kwesi Arthur’s statement comes at a time when Nigerian citizens led by the celebrities are protesting against bad leadership and harassment and killings by police.

Some protesters have been killed in the process but the president of the nation, Muhammadu Buhari seems not care about them.

He has not come out to address the citizens on national television concerning the protest which is almost a week old now. He has also failed to call the security operatives killing innocent protesters to order.

The citizens are being arrested, maimed, tortured and some have being killed but leadership pay no heed to their cries.

Considering what is happening in Nigeria currently, one can conclude that, Kwesi Arthur’s statement has some substance of truth in it. African leaders don’t give a hoot about their citizens.
