American Rapper, Nas Joins Nigerians To Protest Against Police Brutalities

American rapper Nasir Jones popularly known as Nas has taken to his Instagram page to throw his support for the protest against SARS in Nigeria.

The Nigerian youth have been protesting for almost a week now. They’re accusing the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the police force of killings, harassment and extortions and they’re demanding that the unit is scrapped.

The protest has gained worldwide prominence and top notched celebrities in the movie, music and sporting industry have added their voices to the protest.

Taking to his Instagram page, Nas joined the various hashtags such as #SarsMustEnd, #EndPoliceBrutality among others. He concluded by assuring the Nigerian citizens that they were not alone.

“#SarsMustEnd #EndPoliceBrutality Nigeria we’re with you!”, he wrote.
