DJ Cuppy Defies Rain And Self Quarantine To Join #EndSARS Protest From Her Backyard

Billionaire disc jockey, Florence Otedola, known widely in the entertainment industry as DJ Cuppy has defied the heavy downpour in Lagos today to join the #EndSARS protest currently going on in Nigeria.

You will recall that, we reported to you how the entertainer was lamenting her inability to join her colleagues to protest against the disbanded SARS unit of the police force due to the mandatory quarantining she was undergoing.

The disc jockey returned to Nigeria from Dubai a couple of days ago, and as the Covid-19 protocols demand, she needed to self-isolate for a two-week period.

But DJ Cuppy has now decided to stage a lone protest at her backyard in Lagos to help spread the message.

She shared a video of herself holding a placard that had inscriptions asking for the police brutalities against the citizens to be stopped.

She captioned the video: “Finally able fly to Lagos and join the #EndSars protest. …So inspired by all the young people out there risking their lives to amplify awareness. See you soon!”
